Practical Training - Double Engine
We train candidates in all seasons of the year, weather permitting. We can fit you in on weekdays or weekends.
Ocean Image offer to all new boating enthusiasts comprehensive, in depth boat handling training and an opportunity to gain and log the required sea time for your skipper exam. All training completed with Ocean Image is done under the supervision of qualified SAMSA skippers.
TRAINING INFORMATION
Location – All training will be done from the Oceana Power Boat club.
Entry requirements – NONE
Minimum age – 16yrs to issue a certified SAMSA skippers licence
Prices include – Skipper, Boat, Fuel, and all safety equipment
Payment – Once we receive confirmation that you want to use our services to complete your training we will then issue your invoice upon which full payment will secure your training booking.
RATES
Single Entry
- Category E Twin Engines
- R320 per hour (min 10hr per session)
- R8000 per person - full 3day 25hr package
- R11700 per person - full 3day 25hr package + 2 day theory + exam (Total 5 days)
- Category B,C,D Twin Engine Only
- Sea time available on request
